Corn Salad (Valerianella locusta)

Corn salad is an easy to grow and pleasant alternative to lettuce for
salads Also called lamb's lettuce or mache, it looks like a small
loose-leaf lettuce with broad smooth light green leaves. Corn salad
has a delicate flavour and is high in vitamin C. Grown through the
winter, it’s ready to use when 3-4 leaves have developed, then harvest
outer leaves as needed for use in salads or cooked like spinach. Sow
in Autumn and is best in temperate areas. 45-60 days.
