BRAHMI (Bacopa monniera)

Brahmi one of Australia's most sought after herbs, is greatly
respected as a memory enhancing herb. Often used by the aged
to combat memory deterioration, by students and executives
who wish to enliven their mental processes. It also said to
induce a sense of calm and peace, reducing the effects of
anxiety and stress in work or exam situations. It is also
reportedly successful in helping those affected by stroke,
nervous breakdown or exhaustion and Attention Deficit
Disorder. Eat fresh or use dried in a tea.
A native of India, Brahmi is a perennial ground cover that
prefers warm, wet soils in a protected, partially shaded
position. Drought and frost tender.
