Perilla is an aromatic, fast growing annual is a traditional oriental
flavouring herb, particularly in Japanese cuisine, where it’s used as
readily as we use parsley. Used as a flavouring in preserves, bean
curd, and tempura. The very aromatic leaves have a flavour that is
slightly sweet and spicy, with a note of mint. Requires hot conditions
to germinate or heat bed to 20 deg celcius. Chill seed in fridge for 3
days in moist sand
